- Unwind: Soak in the bubbling hot tub, melt away tension in the massage chair, or catch a movie in the dedicated media room with plush seating.
- Culinary haven: Prepare gourmet meals in the expansive kitchen, boasting a 16-foot island, dual commercial sinks, a chef's dream of two ovens and a cooktop, plus a microwave, refrigerator, wine bar, and coffee/tea bar. All the utensils you need await, along with an ice maker for refreshing drinks.
- Gather and unwind: Share laughter and conversation in one of the two living rooms, perfect for game nights or simply cozying up. Stay connected with high-speed WIFI wherever you go.
- Step outside: Extend your living space to the spacious patio, ideal for lounging and enjoying fresh air.
Quilter's delight: Dive into the largest quilt library you've ever seen, brimming with inspiration from books and other craft supplies.
Outside: Fire Pit area, Sunroom, and in the Summer of 2024 we will complete a BBQ area and walking trail.
2nd Kitchen: Has a full fridge and ice maker
In 2025 we will be creating a beautiful walking trail and BBQ area for gatherings.
General Rules for Art Nest Retreat Center:
- Respect quiet hours – Please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM in the main living area, to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
- No pets allowed (except service animals) – For the comfort and safety of all guests, pets are not permitted. However, documented service animals are welcome. Service animals must remain under control at all times and should not disrupt the retreat activities or other guests.
- Documentation – Guests bringing service animals must provide appropriate documentation upon check-in.
- Cleanliness – Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their service animals and ensuring they do not cause damage to the property.
- Behavior – Service animals must be well-behaved and non-disruptive. If the animal becomes disruptive, the guest may be asked to remove the animal from communal spaces.
- Health and safety – The service animal must be healthy, vaccinated, and free of parasites.
- No smoking indoors – Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the facility. Please use designated outdoor areas if needed.
- Keep your workspace tidy – Clean up your station at the end of each session to maintain a pleasant environment for everyone.
- Respect shared equipment – Be mindful when using communal tools and equipment. Return everything to its designated place when you’re done.
- Food and drinks – Enjoy food and beverages in the designated dining areas only. Drinks are allowed at your workspace as long as they are in spill-proof containers.
- Label your belongings – To avoid mix-ups, clearly label any personal crafting supplies or projects.
- Safety first – Please follow all safety guidelines when using sharp tools, irons, or other equipment. Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately.
- Be considerate of others' space – Avoid spreading your materials or projects beyond your assigned workspace.
- Respect the schedule – Adhere to any scheduled group activities or workshops, and arrive on time to ensure smooth operations for everyone.
- Power usage – Please be mindful of power usage. Avoid overloading outlets and always turn off equipment when not in use. You must use only SMALL irons to reduce risk of power issues.
